..and in no time, christmas will be too! Don't you just love christmas? The beautiful candles and decorations, reading a book in front of the fireplace, the gifts, the food, the snow, the candy... THE GIFTS ...did i say that twice?? Just kidding. The gifts was my favorite part when i was younger, but now i just love the whole feeling of christmas! Because i have aspergers, i take in all smells, and many delicious smells are only around when it's christmas. I like different kinds of light better than other kinds of light. I hate bright lights, but i love candlelights! I love to bake, and there's a lot of baking before christmas. I love to decorate and to make things look pretty, that's another thing we do before christmas. To me, christmas is very close to perfect. ..but it can get depressing too. The whole family is home for two weeks (too much for me) + it's so dark outside! My feelings are very affected by light. I try to be outside before it get's dark, i think that helps.
I love to be alone, listen to music and make or bake something. On sunday i made gingerbread cookies, listened to christmas music and drank café au lait. Later in december i will blog about some boxes i'm decorating, they'll be great gifts! I'll give one to my grandma and fill it with her favorite chocolates. I'll probably give one to my mom too, and a few more people.
"Muted red with pink shimmer (frost)" This one's been my favorite lipsticks this year. It doesn't really show much in the pictures, but it has blue undertones and gold shimmer too. It feels very light and glossy, + it keeps your lips hydrated for a long time.
L'Oréal Paris Super Liner Gel Intensa - 03 Black Violet This "24 hour gel liner" is really good! It has the perfect texture, a really good eyeliner brush and it's super easy to apply. I love the color Black Violet, it's black with a hint of purple. It looks much more purple in the pictures because of the light. It looks almost black when applied, but it's not quite as dark.
I made dark chocolate cupcakes with orange buttercream frosting.
I decorated them with a black glitter gel tube making spiderwebs and pumpkin faces.
None of my parents were home, so me and my sister watched old episodes of Ghost Whisperer while eating candy and popcorn (half of my popcorn fell on the floor though). Music: Spiderweb - Haley Reinhart
There was still snow outside, but by the end of the day
When i woke up yesterday, there was a thin layer of snow outside. It kept snowing more, but not that much..
But today, it's been snowing much more, and it really feels like winter already!
I've always thought of myself as a winter person, and as much as i love snow i would like autumn to last a little longer..
This year, when summer had come to an end, i really felt like i had underestimated the beauty of autumn my whole life.
Autumn was never my favorite season, and i never liked the color orange.
But there's something about the colorful trees, the wind in your hair and feeling the subtle warmth from the sun.
I wish the snow could've waited 'till after halloween, cause i always think of christmas when there's snow outside.
So i hope the snow will be gone by wednesday and then come back in November or December. I can't enjoy halloween if i'm already thinking about christmas!
